This bill also prevents local and state governments from protecting our communities from multibillion dollar pesticide companies that risk our public health. This bill does nothing to address our children and our seniors who've been kicked off of food assistance or the farmers who rely on those food assistance programs to drive demand. Again, this bill is just not a good deal for West Michigan. I tried to make it better. I introduced four amendments to improve the proposal and bring our community priorities to the table.
