The Farm Bill is supposed to be on a regular five year renewal cycle. But instead of getting the job done on time, Congress has recently delayed it again and again and again, making our farmers wait. Currently, we are still operating under the 2018 Farm Bill, which has only been temporarily extended. This means that many of the programs farmers and their families rely on are outdated and no longer reflect the challenges that or the prices of today. Costs have gone up. (01:13–01:20)
