While the President continues to engage in a reckless, unauthorized war with Iran. Fuel and fertilizer costs have increased exponentially. The bill does nothing to address that reality. This bill also doesn't touch the problems with essential nutrition programs like SNAP created through HR1, the so-called one big beautiful bill which cut or reduced benefits to more than 40 million Americans. This is a deeply partisan farm bill that does not address food affordability for families who are stretching every dollar right now through the SNAP program. (02:48–03:04)
