Last month I talked to you about the National Defense Authorization act, or ndaa, and the process Congress goes through every year to set our national defense priorities. At the time, that process was still underway, but since then, a lot has happened. The House has now passed its version of the NDAA, and I was able to get six of my amendments included in the bill. It's the most of any member in the minority party and I'm so proud of today. I want to give you an update on where things stand and the policies that I fought for. (00:16–00:24)
