And we had a lot of legislators on both sides of the aisle, but Democratic leadership in particular, that said this just isn't right. And they fought back hard. And community members from all over the state fought back hard. Polling also came out from the University of Texas as well as at the Texas Tribune that showed that amongst Democrats and Republicans alike, having laws that guarantee people sick days were overwhelmingly populated. And so I think lots of folks at the legislature said, you know what, maybe bending this hard for the special interest to take away people's sick days may not go well with my constituents, even if they're from a Republican district.
