Within the next 30 years, after Lyndon Johnson, the Great Society, that 4% increased to over 40%, and with it many other problems came with it. Why did that happen? It happened because Right now we have approximately 90 programs that you are not eligible for if you are not in poverty. In other words, if you have a mother or a father at home making 40, $50,000 a year, you would not get these programs. These programs are familiar to all of us. (10:30–10:41)
