Because beginning in the 1960s in this country we had a massive increase in subsidies which ignored a family with a mother and father at home In the 1950s, about 4% of the children born in this country were born without a mother and father at home. Within the next 30 years, after Lyndon Johnson, the Great Society, that 4% increased to over 40%. and with it many other problems came with it. Why did that happen? It happened because right now we have approximately 90 programs that you are not eligible for if you are not in poverty. (10:07–10:25)

CLAIM
