Featuring: Gabe Evans, Republican | U.S. Representative, Colorado's 8th Congressional District

Watch on YouTube

August 6 Brighton, Colorado, HD48 State Rep. Gabe Evans Town Hall

Published | Video Starts at 10:04

San Francisco's got about 900,000 people in it and they had 56 homicides that year. Denver has about 700,000 people in it, so about 200,000 less. We had 96 homicides in Denver. So per capita in 2021, Denver almost had double the homicide rate of San Francisco [per capita in 2021]. And I got to be on the front lines of all of that as a law enforcement officer. (10:04–10:11)

CLAIM

Asserts that Denver's per capita homicide rate was nearly double that of San Francisco in 2021.
