So what I want to see is recognition that we have a problem when somebody can walk into a school and shoot and kill 22 second graders. And this kind of mass shooting has happened over and over and over again. And The level of gun violence and gun death in this country is off the charts compared to any other developed nation. We have to find a way to reduce that. And I just simply cannot believe that there shouldn't be common ground to figure out how to keep guns away from people that have no business having them.
