But, you know, I first got to meet and worked with Scott Walker on a little local issue in Montello, Wisconsin. People up here may not remember 2008. We had a devastating series of floods in south central Wisconsin. One of them wiped out an earthen dam that basically was the head of Buffalo Lake that was right on the edge of the city of Montello. That dam needed to get rebuilt. The DNR wanted to take the dam out because they like restoring rivers. Well, there might have been some good reasons for that, but the community was not going to let that happen. (14:16–14:28)
