We have very low tariffs in this country compared to the rest of the world. Brazil charges an 18% tariff. Shell. Shellfish. Okay, shellfish. Significant seafood industry in the United States. The European Union bans shellfish exports from 48 American states. You cannot have American shellfish in Europe except from, I would presume, boom, Alaska and Hawaii.
