How are you going to balance leading the police? Because the mayor of the city leads the police and also holding them accountable first. I have a track record here. When I was in the city council, I teamed up with Jumani Williams and we passed the Community Safety Act. At the height of discriminatory stop and frisk, we created the Office of the NYPD Inspector General. We put in place the strongest law against discriminatory policing. (17:16–17:22)
