At the height of discriminatory stop and frisk, we created the Office of the NYPD Inspector General. We put in place the strongest law against discriminatory policing. Stop and frisk came down and crime came down. At the same time in the following years you can have accountability and fairness and safety. And that's what I'm going to insist on as mayor.
