It is also National Apprenticeship Week across the US we're investing in our workforce to help connect our employers with skilled talent and to help more Kentuckians build the future they want for themselves and their families. Thanks to our efforts, There are now 6,301 Kentuckians participating in apprenticeship programs compared to 4,345 in 2020. That means we have secured a 45% increase. Registered apprenticeship programs work because they allow participants to earn a living while training towards a nationally recognized credential. (44:58–45:08)
