This year my budget proposal included funding to construct and operate a game changing reentry campus at North Point Training center to serve up to 400 inmates through targeted vocational educational programs. Provided by the Kentucky Community and Technical College System. On Monday, I was at Northpoint Training Center to sign House Bill 5, which officially authorizes the construction of this reentry campus. that will make Kentucky a national model when it comes to public safety and second chances. And let me give the General assembly some credit here, which some say I never do. (30:56–31:09)
