I would eliminate taxes on tips and overtime. Aligned with the federal government. I'd institute a 2% property tax cap on homeowners and eliminate income taxes for those making 200% of FPL. The so called freeze the rent proposal is also fatally flawed. It would freeze only the rent stabilized units which are about 25% of all units. While 75% would pay the increase. And the 25% are not means tested. So you would have many wealthy people living in those 25% who would just gain a windfall. (1:27:45–1:28:00)
