You have to either go to Merced county or Fresno county. Obviously, thats a huge imposition and a challenge for many families and the system as a whole. We struggle to have enough healthcare professionals in the area. Thats why I fought so hard for the medical school program, was that not so we could have a shiny new medical school in the valley, but rather so that we could try to train students from valley backgrounds.
