As many people in this community know, I've long been a proponent of voluntary agreements. The water board was trying to take 50% of our water when I got in office ten years ago. We have fought them off for the past decade, hoping that the administration and the local leaders could come to a voluntary agreement structure. It looks like we're on the cusp of that. I wish them well and will do anything I can to support landing agreement that keeps the water here in our community to protect agriculture and to protect the central valley. (08:36–08:45)
