During my tenure, just in this district loan, we've brought $30 million in from state government to help with homelessness. And we've done projects here in Stanislaus County. Merced county has a new nearly hundred bed shelter. But We absolutely do have to start addressing the root causes of homelessness. And it has to do with drug addiction. It absolutely has to do with not having sane criminal justice policies that through early release Prop 47, prop 57. (40:45–40:49)
