And it's the kind of work that New Yorkers need to see, because too often what we've seen pass for leadership, especially coming out of Washington, D.C. is a willingness to play politics with working people's lives. And we've seen previous shutdowns. We haven't seen the choice to take [SNAP] out of those shutdowns until this one. And it's critically important that we show in New York City.
