As governor, I would establish a statewide Advisory council made up of individuals from the disability community, whether that is caregivers, advocates, or disabled people, to directly inform of policy measures that we're going to make or things that have been proposed. I would also hold regular public listening sessions across the state of Wisconsin and expand digital access so more people can participate in everyday governance. This is important to me just because I want people to be more involved in the government and to understand what we're doing, to make sure policy is aimed towards them and to help them out more instead of helping us.
