Wisconsin's child care crisis affects not only our kids, families and childcare providers, but our state, employers, workforce and economy too. I've repeatedly proposed plans to lower the cost of child care of which Republican lawmakers rejected. So I directed $170 million in emergency funding to keep our child care industry afloat. But folks, that was 15 months ago. We must do better than nothing when it comes to making child care more affordable. (43:21–43:29)
