That was the watershed year when we adopted a more preservationist mentality here in America in regards to our national forest rather than management and what happened as a result of it. Wildfire went up, forest management went down. There's a direct correlation. If we do a better job of managing our forest, the environment is going to be cleaner, but also we're going to create more jobs because we've seen sawmills close down as a result of the lack of management.
