This underscores the urgent need for the Preventing Auto Recycling Theft, which is called the PART act to pass the house of this Congress. The PART act aims to reduce catalytic converter theft by marking identifying information on certain car parts, addresses how the parts are purchased and strengthens enforceability of catalytic converter theft for local law enforcement. I'm proud to co sponsor the PART act and I'm working with my colleagues to get this across the floor so we can combat the illegal movements of these valuable parts. (03:56–04:11)
