If you think about the senators who represent Mississippi river states, that's a really great bipartisan group of senators and I'm hopeful that we can really elevate that focus. This legislation would create a non regulatory and collaborative initiative to coordinate efforts and invest in building resilience to decrease flooding and improve water quality, restore wildlife habitat and stop the spread of aquatic invasive species. I know the last few times I've been out on the Mississippi river it's been to look at the threat imposed by some of those invasives. (34:42–35:06)
