One great example is special education, the Individuals with Disability Education Act. Some say federal reimbursement for that should increase. It should, and I very much support that. But The federal role in education is limited. And really the state legislature needs to step up and fund the schools. so that so much doesn't have to be a burden on taxpayer property tax taxes which are regressive compared to the income tax.
