If you vote by mail ballot, you obviously aren't showing your identification to a poll worker because you're in the comfort of your home. But here's what does happen so when first you must register to vote. We don't send out any ballots to just anyone on the street or to anyone who asked for one. You must be a registered voter 29 days in advance of the election. Now, for us to complete your voter registration process, we have to confirm that you're a real person. (08:33–08:40)
