And that's what brings us back to this place today. Nearly 400 organizations, entities and groups responded to the bombing. Of that, more than 95 of them were fire departments. It's even said that Virtually every firefighter and official in the state of Oklahoma reported to help in any way that they could [during the Oklahoma City bombing]. This is the true meaning of seeking to protect others, save lives and service. One individual, Gary Mars, epitomizes what it means to be a firefighter. (03:17–03:24)
