And so what we're seeing across the entire country is a growing trend of foreign dark money coming in in favor of issues campaigns to the tune of tens of millions, if not hundreds of millions of dollars across the United States. Ohio alone received last year, in 2023 alone, about 13 and a half million dollars from one entity, the 1630 Fund, that has been funded with almost a quarter billion dollars from a Swiss billionaire named Hans Jorgbies since 2016.
