There's no explanation whatsoever. There's just the ruling. And I think justices are beginning to say, you know, we've gone too far and we need to cut back. But in the meantime, My proposal would very simply require that these opinions be explained by an opinion by some written statement, and that there be a vote count. So, you know, who voted which way seems kind of basic. That's what courts should do and think the use of per curiam opinions by lower courts is encouraged by this bad practice by the Supreme Court.
