Well, I would look at other states. Really. One of two states, us in Virginia, they're making some progress on having a special committee, but the governor again doesn't have as much control. I like a hybrid approach where the governor would appoint judges and then they get elected by the people. Missouri has a hybrid approach. I would be fine if the people solely elected the judges.
