I was honored to speak at a rally earlier this summer organized by we can, which is Wisconsin Education Career Access Network, which is a group of moms, providers and families that advocate for more investment in child care. I mean, The child care crisis in Wisconsin cost Wisconsin families, businesses and government about $1.9 billion. That's billing with a B every year. So the current situation is holding Wisconsin back, harming our children, stunting our economic growth, perpetuating disparities. There's not enough child care providers. (27:01–27:09)
