As we know here in Wisconsin, public schools are the foundation of strong communities. And as Governor Ever says, what's best for our kids is what's best for the future of our state. So in the Assembly, I've supported Governor Ever's agenda to invest more in our schools and mental health services for our young people. and to use part of the state surplus to do so. I do not support using public money to pay for these private voucher schools. We must increase funding for special education, too. (07:37–07:45)
