Transgender people and their rights and access to gender affirming care is an issue that affects people, families and children from all of our districts. Mr. Speaker, By passing this bill, you're telling parents in your district that they don't get to provide care to their child that could save their children's lives or at the very least, help their children have better mental health. You're removing a way for parents and children to have access to actual, accurate medical information through a physician, rather than possible misinformation on the Internet. (05:22–05:36)
