No one group has more rights than another. And I can certainly understand that. But I think that we should be having honest conversations about the fact that it seems like Subsistence fishermen are getting zero consideration and there is zero thought about the management implications when they are getting 0% of the resource. and then nine is bycatch. And, of course, many people across Alaska think we could be doing much better. For Alaska native communities, wasting is one of the worst things that you can do. (19:52–20:08)
