I certainly support local, state and federal coordination that focuses on these results, and I'll continue to support for investments in active forest management. But this bloated bureaucracy that stifles active management has not been serving Colorado well. We still have more than 6 billion standing dead trees in the west, and they're all creating this massive tinderbox just waiting to ignite. And really, that pairs into our water quality, which is always a top priority in Colorado. 80% of Colorado's municipal water comes from our natural forests. (35:38–35:46)
