I've never cast a vote to cut either of these programs, nor have I advocated to have them cut. I proudly co-sponsored and supported HR82, the Social Security Fairness act to repeal the windfall elimination provision of the government pension offset. And this is something that helps ensure retirees receive their full earned Social Security benefits without reductions. And this bill was signed into law last year. (45:56–46:09)
