Our neighboring states, like Minnesota, have already implemented these policies, attracting and retaining top talent for their economy. Since adopting these measures, businesses see lower turnover rates, reduced hiring and training costs, and increased employee loyalty and productivity. Wisconsin businesses deserve these same economic advantages, but our working families deserve those same sense of security. Paid family leave is a win win both for employees as well as employers alike. This is why I'm proud to stand here today and advocate for this bill. (03:39–03:51)
