I'm grateful for the First Lady's leadership on this issue and her dedication to supporting America's children. I'd also like to thank the Chairman for holding this markup so that we can better support foster youth in America. The Chaffey Foster Care Program provides critical resources for older foster youth, setting them up for independence and a successful transition to adulthood. Oklahoma uses these funds for the Oklahoma Successful Adult Program, which serves foster youth at various stages to help them achieve self sufficiency. (00:26–00:36)
