The thing that I find to be so enlightening and encouraging, and why I am hopeful at this 250 year mark, even with the challenges we have, is that The American people have always stepped up, met the moment and got us through it. and ended that particular chapter in our American story. More hopeful, more optimistic, more just, more inclusive than we were before we came into that period of time. (30:18–30:24)
