I want to come back to something I think the chairman was talking about, Mr. Secretary, and that is, you know, the overall budget request for the Department of Air Force, 16 billion. For Air Force, [the budget request is] 12 billion. Space Force's budget structured as mandatory funding rather than discretionary, which raises concerns about transparency, congressional oversight, the long term fiscal sustainability of this and and the work of this committee and the oversight that we bring to this job.
