There was a bipartisan bill that was drafted by a conservative Republican, a liberal Democrat, and an independent that would have changed the asylum laws to make them more realistic to today's environment. would have put more customs and border protection people on the southern border. That's why they endorsed the bill, by the way, and would have put technology at our borders to stop the deadly fentanyl that's flowing into this country. (12:11–12:23)
