The other thing that we better make sure that we're dealing with very early on is around public education. You know, we're in a situation where we're pitting public school kids, or school kids in general, against taxpayers because We're forcing all these referendums down to the local level, and people are deciding, do I want to tax myself where I'm in danger of being, you know, not being able to keep my house, or do I want to provide the basics for kids in our public schools? Like, that's not a choice that we should be forcing on people, and it's the state's responsibility to do so. So getting rid of the state funding formula that we've had over the last 30 years, that hasn't worked. (10:01–10:15)
