I've seen where at the federal level, we fought for provisions in legislation to address some of these issues. Unfortunately, although we got some relief in the american rescue plan, I remember in build back better when we were negotiating, one of the hard lines was adding childcare and adding the child tax credit into that piece of legislation, and there was so much opposition against it. People went so far as to say this is not part of the economy. This is not part of getting people back to work. (06:08–06:27)
