We in Congress vote on budgets. We vote on the line items in those budgets. Feeding people is something that we can afford to do in the United States of America. And making it harder for people to eat, for people to access food for elderly people, for veterans, for people who have small children to have to worry about how they're going to feed them is unconscionable.
