And so in 2022, when I was up for reelection after four years of governor with a very lopsided legislature, we finally had fairly drawn districts. We had reproductive freedom on our ballot. We amended our Constitution to protect abortion rights in the wake of the Dobbs decision. And we ran a really terrific slate of candidates from top to bottom. And we worked together in a way that hasn't always been the case in Michigan. (09:21–09:27)
