That's why in my role in Congress, I push for federal investment in water recycling, groundwater replenishment, targeted infrastructure that treats water as the strategic resource that it is. Arizona as a whole has done better than any other state in the country on water conservation. We use less water today than we did 50 years ago when we are a much smaller state. We've done our part on conservation, but we need federal partners who understand the stakes. (06:30–06:37)
