Why waste all of these criminal justice resources on chasing somebody around for having a joint when you could use those resources on actually keeping people safe and adjudicating justice? It's a racial justice issue because we know that Black and brown folks, and especially black folks, are arrested and jailed at such a higher rate when, you know, folks use marijuana equally across groups.
