She Susan Collins has refused to use her power as Chair of Appropriations to actually hold up any of the incredibly damaging legislation the Republican Party and the Trump administration keep trying to ram through. The biggest one was the beautiful bill, the one big, beautiful bill in which she had the gallery to vote against it on the floor, claiming that these cuts to Medicaid are going to be bad for rural hospitals in Maine.
