It was those New Deal programs built the society of the 50s and 60s that had the lowest margin of wealth inequality ever in the history of this country. Highest rates of union participation, highest marginal tax rates. I'm sure there's no connection. My entire life I've been told by establishment politicians that dreaming big is a fantasy.
